Las Vegas Porcelain-Fused-to-Metal Crown

Las Vegas dental practices run at a pace that punishes slow labs. You have a full schedule, a patient in the chair expecting a same-visit or next-appointment restoration, and zero tolerance for a crown that comes back off-shade or with a marginal gap that triggers a remake conversation. PFM crowns sit at the intersection of patient expectation and clinical pragmatism: the metal substructure handles the occlusal load, the porcelain overlay delivers the esthetic, and the margin fit determines whether the case closes clean or costs you chair time.

  • Pre-paid two-way shipping, nationwide
  • A named technician on every case
  • Margins verified against your prescription
  • Tempe + Tucson locations

THE DETAIL

How we build it.

National-network dental labs process PFM cases in high-volume batch queues. The efficiency looks good on a per-unit price sheet, but batch processing means your case is reviewed by whoever is staffed that shift, and communication on a shade concern or prep question runs through a call-center ticketing system. Response times measured in days, not hours, are standard at that scale. That model works for commodity volume. It does not work when a Las Vegas patient is scheduled for a seat on Thursday. Dani Dental operates differently. Every PFM crown that leaves our facility has a technician's direct line attached to the case paperwork. You reach the person who built the unit, not a service queue. Shade questions, margin concerns, occlusal adjustments: those conversations happen in hours. The sub-2.5% remake rate we track internally reflects what named-technician accountability actually produces over time, not what a workflow chart promises. On pricing, there is no procurement maze. Las Vegas account setup takes one call, and the fee schedule is sent in writing before the first case ships. No volume tiers that shift after the first quarter, no hidden rush fees on standard five-day turnaround. For practices evaluating lab partners after a quality or communication breakdown with a previous provider, that transparency tends to resolve the hesitation faster than any sales conversation.

GETTING CASES TO US

Logistics, to the bench.

Dani Dental builds PFM crowns using a porcelain application and characterization workflow refined over three decades on the bench. Each unit is assigned to a named technician who reviews your shade prescription, bite record, and prep design before layering begins. If a shade guide photo accompanies the case, it gets cross-referenced against the fired porcelain before shipping. Nothing ships on assumption. For Las Vegas offices working digital workflows, we accept intraoral scans directly from iTero, 3Shape Trios, and Medit units. Conventional PVS or polyether impressions work equally well. Boxes ship same day from Las Vegas Metro to our Arizona facility, and completed units return via overnight courier. If your practice is in Summerlin, Henderson, North Las Vegas, or the Strip corridor, the logistics are straightforward and the tracking number hits your inbox the moment the case leaves our facility.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What practices ask

Do you accept intraoral scans for PFM crowns, or do Las Vegas offices need to send physical impressions?
Both work. We accept STL files from iTero, 3Shape Trios, and Medit scanners sent directly through our secure upload portal. Physical PVS or polyether impressions ship to our Arizona facility via overnight carrier. For Las Vegas practices transitioning to digital workflows, we are glad to walk through the scan-to-fabrication handoff on a first case at no additional coordination charge.
What is the standard turnaround time for a PFM crown shipped from Las Vegas?
Five business days from receipt of a complete case, impression or scan plus shade and bite records. Rush three-day turnaround is available on most single-unit PFM cases for a stated fee confirmed at case submission. We do not apply undisclosed rush charges after the fact. If a case has a complexity that changes the timeline, we call before we proceed.
How do I reach the technician working my case if I have a shade or margin question?
Every case ships with the direct contact line of the assigned technician printed on the case paperwork. You call or text that number. You do not navigate a phone tree or submit a support ticket. Shade consultations and pre-cementation questions are typically answered the same business day, usually within two to four hours during normal lab hours.
What metal alloys are available for the PFM substructure?
We offer high-noble, noble, and predominantly base metal alloy options for PFM substructures. High-noble alloys are the default recommendation for patients with documented metal sensitivities or for anteriors where margin esthetics are a priority. Noble and base metal options are available for posterior restorations where cost management matters. Alloy selection is confirmed in writing on the case acceptance form before fabrication begins.
What happens if a PFM crown comes back needing a remake?
Remakes on cases where the lab error is confirmed, wrong shade, margin discrepancy against the provided prep, or occlusal issue traceable to fabrication, are handled at no charge and prioritized in the queue. Our internal tracking shows a remake rate under 2.5% across active accounts over the past 12 months. When a remake is needed, the assigned technician reviews the original case before rebuilding, not a different technician starting cold.
Can Las Vegas practices set up a lab account before sending the first case?
Yes, and that is the recommended sequence. Account setup takes one phone call and we send the fee schedule, case submission instructions, and shipping labels in writing before a single case ships. There are no setup fees. For practices evaluating us after an experience with a previous lab provider, reviewing the full fee schedule upfront tends to resolve most of the pricing uncertainty before the first case ever arrives.
