THE DETAIL

How we build it.

Most national-network labs routing through Las Vegas funnel ceramic inlay cases through a centralized triage desk, then assign them to whichever technician has capacity that day. The result is inconsistent margin interpretation across a single practice account. Dani Dental assigns a primary technician to each practice account at onboarding. That technician learns your preparation style, your preferred occlusal scheme, and the shade system you rely on. Consistency compounds over time; practices report fewer seat-day adjustments after the first 10 to 15 cases. High-volume digital labs competing at commodity price points typically hold turnaround times under pressure by reducing QC checkpoints. Dani holds a documented remake rate under 2.5% by keeping QC as a non-negotiable step, not a variable one. The price point reflects that. Transparent per-unit ranges are available in the Doctor Kit; there is no pricing maze, no procurement call required. If the per-unit number does not work for your fee schedule, we will say so plainly rather than negotiate indefinitely. For Las Vegas practices that send mixed implant and crown-and-bridge caseloads, the same account technician handles ceramic inlay and onlay work alongside implant-supported restorations. You are not splitting communication across two departments. One contact, one case-tracking thread, one phone number.

GETTING CASES TO US

Logistics, to the bench.

Las Vegas dental practices run a high-volume, high-expectation patient mix. Casino-district offices and suburban family practices alike are placing ceramic inlays and onlays where patients want natural aesthetics and clinicians want a restoration that actually fits the first time. Dani Dental supports that workflow with fully digital case intake: intraoral scan files accepted from iTero, 3Shape, Medit, and Carestream platforms, no physical impression required unless you prefer it. Every ceramic inlay and onlay leaves our Arizona facility with a documented shade match, a margin-fit check logged by the named technician, and the technician's direct contact line on the case ticket. That means when your assistant calls at 7 a.m. the morning of the seat appointment, they reach a person, not a customer-service queue. Standard turnaround runs 5 to 7 business days from scan receipt. Rush cases (3 business days) are available for an additional fee and must be flagged at submission. Material options include feldspathic ceramic for high-translucency anteriors, lithium disilicate (e.max) for bicuspid and molar inlays demanding flexural strength above 360 MPa, and full-contour monolithic zirconia for bruxers who cannot risk fracture. Your case notes drive the material call; if you want a second opinion on the spec before we mill, a technician will respond within 4 business hours.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What practices ask

Which scan formats do you accept for ceramic inlay and onlay cases from Las Vegas offices?
We accept .STL, .PLY, and native file formats from iTero, 3Shape Trios, Medit, and Carestream systems. Physical PVS impressions and stone dies are also accepted if your workflow requires them. Digital submissions process faster and eliminate the 1 to 2 day shipping window, so scan-to-delivery averages 5 to 7 business days versus 7 to 9 for physical impression cases.
What ceramic materials are available for inlay and onlay restorations?
We mill feldspathic ceramic for high-translucency cases, lithium disilicate (e.max) for posterior inlays and onlays requiring flexural strength above 360 MPa, and monolithic zirconia for heavy bruxers or high-force molar cases. Material selection is documented on every case ticket. If your prescription does not specify a material, the assigned technician will flag it within 4 business hours of case receipt rather than assume.
How does named-technician assignment work for a Las Vegas practice?
At account onboarding, Dani Dental assigns one primary technician to your practice. That technician handles your ceramic inlay and onlay cases, logs your preparation preferences and shade notes, and is the direct contact on every case ticket. Their phone number ships with every case. If your primary technician is unavailable, a designated backup with access to your full case history covers the account.
Can you accommodate same-week turnaround for a Las Vegas patient who cannot return for a second appointment?
Rush turnaround (3 business days from scan receipt) is available for ceramic inlay and onlay cases flagged at submission. Rush cases carry an additional fee listed in the Doctor Kit pricing sheet. Cases submitted before 10 a.m. Arizona time count as day zero. We do not guarantee same-day or next-day turnaround on ceramic milled restorations; same-day is only available for select PMMA temporaries.
What is your remake policy if the inlay or onlay does not seat correctly?
If a remake is required due to a lab-side error, specifically margin fit, contour, or shade outside the prescribed range, we remake at no charge. The technician who produced the original case reviews the returned restoration before the remake is started. Dani Dental's trailing 12-month remake rate across ceramic restorations is under 2.5%. We track this number internally and make it available to practice accounts on request.
Do you work with Las Vegas practices that also place implant restorations?
Yes. Las Vegas practices with mixed caseloads (crown and bridge, ceramic inlays and onlays, and implant-supported restorations) are assigned the same primary technician across all case types where the technician's bench skills cover the scope. This keeps your communication in one thread rather than routed across multiple departments. Mixed-account onboarding takes roughly one business day and requires a completed case preference form.
