Houston 3D-Printed Restoration
Houston practices operate at scale. The Texas Medical Center alone employs thousands of clinicians, and the broader metro has some of the highest per-capita specialist density in the country. When a prosthodontist in the Energy Corridor or a multi-location DSO anchored near I-10 needs 3D-printed restorations, turnaround and precision tolerances are not negotiable line items , they are the contract.
- Pre-paid two-way shipping, nationwide
- A named technician on every case

THE DETAIL
How we build it.
Most national-network labs route Houston cases through centralized production hubs where no single technician owns the file end to end. The case arrives, gets split across departments, and ships back with a case number as the only point of contact. When something needs a quick answer before a morning appointment, that structure creates a bottleneck that costs chair time. Dani Dental runs a named-technician model. Every 3D-printed restoration case is assigned to a specific technician whose direct line ships with the case card. If an occlusal adjustment question comes up at 8 a.m. on a Thursday, Houston practices call or text one person, not a queue. Response time is measured in hours, not business days. That communication structure is one of the three reasons accounts leave larger labs, and it is one of the three reasons they stay with Dani. On the quality side, the sub-2.5% remake rate is not a marketing figure , it comes from the same digital intake protocol used on every case regardless of volume. Large-volume labs sometimes route high-frequency case types through automated QC pipelines that skip the human marginal check. Dani does not automate that step. For Houston practices where a remake means a rescheduled patient and a lost afternoon, the difference between 2.5% and 6% remake rates is a real number with real cost.
GETTING CASES TO US
Logistics, to the bench.
Dani Dental's 3D-printed restoration workflow starts with your intraoral scan file. We accept STL, PLY, and OBJ formats from every major scanner in common use today, including iTero, Trios, Medit, and Primescan. Files move directly into our in-house CAD station, where a named technician models the case and flags any occlusal or marginal concerns before printing. No file goes to the printer without a technician sign-off. That step alone catches a meaningful share of issues that would otherwise surface as remakes. Printed restorations from this workflow include provisional crowns and bridges, surgical guides, occlusal splints, night guards, and implant-supported interim prosthetics. For Houston offices running high implant volume, the surgical guide output is particularly relevant: guides print to a consistent fit tolerance and include the technician's direct contact line on the case card, so any on-the-day questions go to the person who built the file, not a general inbox.
