Goodyear Intraoral Scan Acceptance

Goodyear practices running iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, or Medit scanners can submit cases to Dani Dental without a physical impression in the workflow at any point. The file lands in our design queue, a named technician reviews it for margin clarity and occlusal clearance, and you receive a written confirmation with any fit flags before fabrication begins. That review step is the difference between a clean seat and a remade unit.

  • Pre-paid two-way shipping, nationwide
  • A named technician on every case
  • Margins verified against your prescription
  • Tempe + Tucson locations

THE DETAIL

How we build it.

Large national lab networks accept digital files, but the file goes into a production queue with no named point of contact on the other side. When a margin question comes up or a bite record looks thin, you are reaching a general intake line. At Dani Dental, every scan, originated case is assigned to a specific technician whose direct line ships with the case. That is not a policy statement; it is the structure of how work moves through the lab. Regional dental service organizations operating in the West Valley have driven a wave of high, volume, commoditized crown fabrication through the Goodyear corridor. Those workflows optimize for throughput. Dani Dental optimizes for a sub, 2.5% remake rate, which means a technician reviews your scan for fit flags before fabrication, not after. The distinction matters most on implant, supported restorations and full, arch cases where a remake costs the practice half a day of chair time, not just a crown. The family, operated structure at Dani Dental, running since Arizona 1993, means decision, makers are on the bench or one phone call away. Goodyear practices that have worked with agency, scale labs describe the same friction: no one to call, no one accountable, no one who remembers the case. Here, the technician who reviewed your scan confirmation is the same person you talk to if something needs adjustment. That continuity does not exist in a high, volume national platform.

GETTING CASES TO US

Logistics, to the bench.

For Goodyear offices that are still transitioning from PVS impression workflows, Dani Dental accepts both. Hybrid submission is not a workaround here; it is a supported pathway. Practices that moved to full, digital over a 6, to, 12 month window typically report a reduction in chair time spent on adjustments, because the scan, based workflow surfaces clearance and contact issues at the design stage rather than at delivery. Restoration types supported through the scan, acceptance workflow include single, unit crowns, bridges up to six units, implant, supported crowns with scan body identification, and full, arch diagnostic models. Inlay and onlay cases submit the same way. If your Goodyear practice is exploring full, arch implant prosthetics, the scan workflow integrates directly with our All, on, X fabrication track, and a technician can walk you through the scan body requirements before your first case ships.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What practices ask

Which intraoral scanner formats does Dani Dental accept from Goodyear practices?
We currently accept native files from iTero, 3Shape TRIOS, and Medit scanners. STL and PLY exports from other systems are also accepted. If your Goodyear practice is using a scanner not listed here, contact us before your first submission and a technician will confirm compatibility or identify any conversion step needed on your end. We do not want a format question to delay your first case.
How long does scan review take before fabrication begins?
Standard scan confirmation for Goodyear, submitted cases runs within one business day of file receipt. If the scan shows a margin issue, occlusal clearance concern, or missing scan body data, you receive a written flag with a specific description before fabrication starts. The goal is zero surprise remakes, not fast acknowledgment emails that skip the clinical review.
Can my Goodyear practice submit both scans and PVS impressions during a transition period?
Yes. Hybrid submission is a fully supported workflow, not an exception. Practices transitioning from traditional impressions to full digital over a 6, to, 12 month window submit whichever format the case calls for. Both routes receive the same named, technician review and the same turnaround commitment. There is no pricing penalty for impression, based cases submitted alongside scan cases.
What restoration types are supported through the scan, acceptance workflow?
The scan workflow supports single, unit crowns, multi, unit bridges up to six units, implant, supported crowns with scan body identification, inlays, onlays, and full, arch diagnostic models. Full, arch implant prosthetics for All, on, X cases also route through this track. If your planned restoration type is not listed, contact the lab before submission so a technician can confirm the right workflow upfront.
Who reviews my scan after submission, and how do I reach them if I have questions?
Every scan, originated case is assigned to a named technician who performs the margin and occlusal review before fabrication. That technician's direct contact information ships with the case confirmation. You are not calling a general intake line. If a fit question comes up at delivery or a follow, up case needs the same technician, you already have the direct line.
Does Dani Dental's scan, acceptance workflow support implant cases with specific scan bodies?
Yes. For implant, supported restorations, the submitting doctor identifies the scan body used in the file. If scan body data is missing or the library match is unclear, the reviewing technician flags it in the case confirmation before fabrication begins. Goodyear practices new to implant, supported digital workflows can request a pre, submission call with a technician to confirm scan body requirements for their first implant case.
