Every cast partial case opens with a surveyed study model review. The assigned technician surveys the cast, identifies the path of insertion, and marks rest seats, guide planes, and undercut zones before any wax is touched. If the survey reveals a prescriptive conflict, such as undercuts that contradict the submitted design, the technician contacts the prescribing dentist directly, not through a relay of customer service reps. That call happens within one business day of case intake. Framework design follows the Krol RPD classification system as the baseline, then gets refined against the specific arch, abutment crown morphology, and esthetic zone requirements. Anterior replacements with visible clasps get a separate esthetic review step. Linguoplate versus lingual bar decisions are documented in the case file and explained to the prescribing doctor if the submitted prescription did not specify one or the other. Wax patterns are fabricated by hand on refractory dies. Dani Dental uses a phosphate-bonded investment system that has been part of the lab workflow since the Arizona build-out in 1993. Casting is done in cobalt-chromium alloy via centrifugal casting, which produces consistent density and surface detail across the full framework. After devesting, each frame goes through a grit-blast and surface inspection under magnification before moving to finishing. Fitness verification uses a silicone fit-check protocol on the stone model before the case ships. Connectors are checked for thickness and rigidity per ANSI/ADA specification tolerances. Any frame that does not seat fully on the model without pressure is returned to the bench for adjustment before the case exits the building. Shipping uses labeled, padded casts with the assigned technician's direct contact card in every box. If the frame does not seat at try-in, the dentist calls the technician, not an 800-number. Adjustment or remake decisions are made in that first call, and a path forward is confirmed before the case re-enters the production queue.

Can Dani Dental work from an intraoral scan for a cast partial?
Yes, with one caveat. Soft-tissue-bearing areas on RPD cases still benefit from a physical impression in most workflows, because scanner accuracy in the posterior edentulous ridge can vary by scanner model and operator technique. Send the scan plus a physical impression of the edentulous area and the technician will advise on the best path. Cases where the scan is clean and the edentulous span is short often proceed fully digital.
What alloy does Dani Dental use for cast frameworks?
Standard production uses a cobalt-chromium alloy with a Vickers hardness of approximately 380-400 HV. This is the industry-standard choice for rigidity, biocompatibility, and corrosion resistance. Dani Dental does not currently fabricate gold alloy RPD frameworks as a standard offering. If a case requires a gold-based framework for specific patient needs, contact the lab before submitting.
What is the standard turnaround time for a cast partial framework?
Ten business days from the day the case is logged into the production system, which is typically the day after physical receipt or the same day for digital submissions. That window covers survey, wax-up, casting, finishing, and shipping. Rush cases under 7 business days are available; contact the lab before submitting to confirm the schedule has capacity for the requested date.
How do I handle a framework that does not fully seat at try-in?
Call the technician on the case directly using the contact card in the box. Do not adjust the frame in the office until you have spoken with the lab. The technician will ask for the specific location of the bind, whether it is on an abutment crown margin, a rest seat, or a guide plane, and will advise on whether a chairside adjustment is appropriate or whether the frame should return. Most seating issues are resolved in one call.
Can Dani Dental fabricate the acrylic saddles on the same case, or is that a separate submission?
Dani Dental fabricates complete RPDs, meaning the metal framework and the acrylic saddles with denture teeth are produced in the same lab on the same case file. You do not need to send the framework to a second lab for acrylic processing. The case ships as a finished prosthetic ready for delivery or minor chairside adjustment, not as a bare framework requiring external finishing.
What is the remake policy if a cast partial framework does not fit after try-in?
If the fit failure is a lab fabrication error, documented by the technician call at try-in, Dani Dental remakes the frame at no charge. Turnaround on remakes is prioritized at 7 business days or fewer. If the fit failure results from a change in the case, such as a newly placed or adjusted crown on an abutment tooth after the impression was taken, the remake is treated as a new case at standard pricing. The technician will identify which scenario applies in the try-in call.
Does Dani Dental offer implant-supported removable partial dentures?
Yes. Locator attachment RPDs and bar-retained partials that incorporate implant abutments are within Dani Dental's scope. These cases require additional planning information, including implant position data, platform size, and the restorative plan for the natural abutments remaining in the arch. Contact the lab before submitting an implant-supported partial so the technician can confirm the design path before any physical work begins.
