Standard turnaround is 5 business days from the day impressions arrive at the lab, not from the day you ship them. Rush fabrication at 48 hours is available by calling the lab directly before you ship. Rush cases are confirmed same-day on intake. If the 48-hour window cannot be honored due to production volume, the technician tells you that on the call, not after the case arrives.
Does Dani Dental accept digital scans for night guard fabrication?
Yes. Send the STL files from your intraoral scanner to the lab's secure file portal. Dani accepts exports from iTero, Trios, Medit, and most other major scanner platforms. Include upper arch, lower arch, and buccal bite scan. The technician reviews the scan quality on intake and contacts you within the same business day if any file is insufficient for fabrication, before production begins.
What happens if the night guard needs to be remade due to a fit issue?
Dani's remake rate on occlusal appliance cases runs below 2.5% over the trailing 12 months. When a remake is warranted, the technician who built the original case handles the review call with you, identifies the source of the fit issue, and schedules the remake at no additional charge if the cause traces to fabrication. You will speak to the technician, not a customer service representative who has not seen the case.
