No. A CEREC same-day crown is milled chairside in the dentist's office during a single appointment, usually in 1-2 hours. A 24 hour crown is milled at an external dental lab and shipped back the next business day. The chairside route requires the practice to own a mill and oven, plus the staff time to design and finish in-house.
